The Lean Manager position will have a key role in promoting lean methodologies at our international sites in Mexico, France, China, and India, ensuring alignment with A2MAC1’s core values of respect, engagement, and continuous improvement, no matter the location. 

The Lean Manager will be tasked with leading the global rollout of lean strategies, coordinating cross-functional teams, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement across multiple regions. The ideal candidate will understand that the success of lean initiatives is directly tied to the involvement and engagement of the local teams, each contributing to the overall goals of the company. 

TASKS & RESPONSABILITIES

Global Lean Strategy Leadership:   

  • Develop and implement a global lean strategy that aligns with A2MAC1’s business objectives, ensuring consistency across all dismantling sites (Mexico, France, China, and India) while tailoring solutions to the unique challenges of each location. 


Cross-Site Lean Coordination:  

  • Oversee the lean implementation and improvement activities across multiple sites, ensuring clear communication and collaboration between teams in different regions.  
  • Promote best practices and create synergies to enhance performance and results globally. 



Local Adaptation & Human-Centered Approach:  

  • Ensure that lean initiatives are adapted to meet the local needs and cultural contexts of each site, with a strong focus on employee engagement and empowerment.  
  • Champion the importance of the human element in lean transformations. 


Lead Global Projects & Initiatives:  

  • Lead lean projects that span multiple sites, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and facilitating collaboration across diverse teams.  
  • Use data-driven insights to evaluate progress and impact. 


Training & Development Across Regions:  

  • Coordinate training programs and workshops to educate and empower teams at all sites on lean principles, tools, and methodologies.  
  • Foster an environment of continuous learning and improvement, where each employee feels valued and engaged in the process. 


Cultural Sensitivity & Site-Specific Challenges:  

  • Address site-specific challenges with sensitivity to local work environments and cultures, while promoting global alignment.  
  • Ensure lean initiatives take into account the unique characteristics of each region and are implemented effectively. 



Measure & Drive Global Improvement:  

  • Monitor KPIs across all sites to track lean success and identify areas for further improvement. Ensure sustainability of lean gains through continuous monitoring, feedback, and adaptation of strategies as needed. 


Requirements

PROFILE REQUIRED 


  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement roles, with experience in managing lean practices at a global level, ideally in industrial or dismantling operations. 
  • Proven ability to manage and coordinate lean initiatives across multiple sites or regions. Experience working with cross-cultural teams and understanding the challenges of global operations. 
  • Strong knowledge of lean methodologies (Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, SMED) with the ability to apply them across diverse environments. 
  • Exceptional leadership skills to manage teams across different cultures and locations. Ability to inspire and engage employees in the lean journey, fostering a sense of ownership and collaboration. 
  • Proven project management skills, with experience in driving large-scale, global lean initiatives from conception to implementation. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and lead teams remotely and interact with different stakeholders across various regions. 
  • Ability to adapt strategies to meet local needs while maintaining global standards, ensuring consistency and alignment with A2MAC1’s mission.
