This position shall support the management of Finance Operations daily operations by analyzing and optimizing business processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall operational performance, following and complying to the applicable internal company policies, guidelines and standard operating procedures.

1. Conduct comprehensive assessments of current processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, utilizing data-driven analysis and process mapping techniques.

2. Design and implement process improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.

3. Ensure standardization and automation optimization across the target operating processes, solutions, data and reports.

4. Ensure robust and effective controls are embedded in the operational processes to improve risk management and governance of the Finance functions.

5. Ensure the operational procedures comply with the applicable internal and regulatory policies, guidelines, accounting standards and best practices.

6. Support the review of standard operating procedures documentation and ensure that the documentation quality meets the internal requirement.

7. Facilitate workshops and training sessions on changes to the current processes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

8. Collaborate with stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs), turnaround time (TAT) and develop dashboards for tracking progress and outcomes of improvement initiatives.

9. Lead change management efforts to ensure successful implementation and adoption of new processes, tools, and technologies.

10. Prepare and present findings and recommendations to Management, influencing strategic decisions based on data insights.

11. Prepare Management Information reporting as and when required by the Management.

12. Perform any ad hoc and administrative tasks as and when required by the Management.

Minimum Job Requirement
Qualification:
1. Bachelor or Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.

2. Internationally recognized accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, etc.) or working towards designation will be an added advantage.
Relevant Experience:
1. At least 6 – 7 years of working experience.

2. Experience in the financial or shared services industry such as insurance or banking will be an added advantage.

3. Experience in Finance transformation and implementation projects will be an added advantage.
Other Requirements:
1. Detail oriented, good analytical mind, strategic and creative problem solver.

2. Excellent communications and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

3. Excellent prioritization skills to balance key priorities and prioritize effectively.

4. Strong stakeholders’ management skills with good balancing between diplomacy and tact with assertiveness.

5. Strong relationships management skills, i.e. consultative and collaborative.

6. Courageous, decisive and maintains a clear focus and sees action through to delivery.

7. Energetic, determined, positive, goal focused and consistent, even under pressure.

8. Strives to do the "right thing", not just the "easy thing".
9. Builds trust and demonstrates high integrity in all circumstances.
Special Business Knowledge and Skills
1. Advanced understanding of end-to-end Finance systems and processes.

2. Advanced knowledge in accounting standards and controls environment.

3. Proficient in Microsoft Office with excellent MS Excel skills.

4. Experience with Oracle, Coupa or Smartstream will be an added advantage.
