The Account Review Specialist (ARS) role is a  role within Issuer and Investor Services that is a balance of repeatable production of similar items, but also some customization based on RM requests and client needs.  The primary purpose of the role is to assist Relationship Managers by producing 90%+ of an account review document for RMs to use in client meetings. These are done in Powerpoint and in Digideck. Tasks include entering client-specific information and statistics, gleaned form various systems, inserting client specific logos and graphics of their activity. This role will be given a package of pre-approved slides from which to choose, and templates for the ‘type’ of review it is. Based on the type, that will dictate which slides to use as the starting point. These are 10-20 page presentations that include client activity, updates on EQ, and client-specific recommendations. The RMs will provide a checklist of what to include and the slides are created and approved via marketing, so it is more an assembly of them and inserting client-specific information such as their experience with call center wait times, abandoned calls, number of checks vs. ACH, etc.

The ARS will be aligned with all RMs once fully onboarded.  Each Relationship Manager’s assigned client portfolio will vary in terms of the number and types of clients in the portfolio as well as revenue size.  Client portfolios are tiered based on a variety of factors, including client market cap, current revenue volume to EQ, future potential revenue volume, and the number of shareholders served. The ARS will produce presentations from a pre-approved set of 80-100 slides, that are used with formal account reviews with clients 2x a year on average. Will need to be able to interpret requests from RMs and their RD managers and communicate back in a collaborative and timely manner. Will take direction from the U.S.-based Relationship Directors and RMs, but will be managed in day to day tasks and administratively by local Site Director. Will need to learn Digideck and Unity, and have attention to detail.

Carefully review documentation with requests for compliance to EQ policies. Document all activity in Unity and other systems.

Basics of this should be possessed upon entry into the role.  However, molding it to fit our RM and RD ‘clients’ internally, and limited written interaction with issuer clients. Includes good written correspondence with team in the U.S.

Occasionally create ad hoc presentations form set slides and embellish and add to story. So will need to learn basics of TA business, EPS, OI and Proxy over time.
