About this opportunity:

This Process Engineer position is responsible for providing process engineering and technical support to plant operations. As a process engineer, they are responsible for identifying production opportunities, implementing plant improvement projects, and troubleshooting production issues using innovative data analysis and solutions.

What you’ll do:

• Gathers, analyzes, interprets, acts upon and disseminates pertinent unit operations data that monitors the performance of the unit

• Applies intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices

• Maintains awareness of all Safety, Health and Environmental issues that impact the unit, refinery, and personnel

• Evaluates the economic feasibility of projects assigned and provides Process Engineering services during engineering, construction, and start-up of projects

• Makes decisions independently on engineering problems and methods to rapidly correct or improve process issues

Who you are:

• Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering required

• 2+ years of experience within an operating refinery

• Experience working with Process Safety Information, Operations Departments
