Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Process Engineer located in Memphis, TN.

Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager, the Process Engineer will in charge for process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements in order to hold up a manufacturing organization.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Manufacturing Process and Design Evaluation: Recognize and define the manufacturing process, technologies, and techniques; implement and evaluate proposed designs for manufacturability while establishing robust, repeatable process parameters.
  • Root Cause Analysis and Problem Solving: Collaborate with engineering stakeholders to identify root causes of manufacturing failures, participate in daily production activities, and effectively troubleshoot process-related issues.
  • Capital Equipment and Process Control: Prepare justifications for, purchase, and implement capital equipment; develop and take ownership of process control methodologies to enhance productivity and safety.
  • Continuous Improvement and Training: Engage in cycle time and process improvements, interface with production for new process implementation, and assist in developing and providing training to production personnel during technology transfers.
  • Documentation and Cost Management: Develop and maintain process documentation, review processing methods, and guide cost improvement programs to enhance manufacturing techniques and throughput.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial, manufacturing or mechanical engineering
  • 3 - 6 years of experience in engineering in the high technology electronics industry.
  • Experience on time-motion study
  • Strong Microsoft Office and Excel knowledge
  • Lean Six Sigma/DRM Green Belt highly preferred
