Job Summary

Conagra Brands - Darien, WI, home of Birds Eye Foods, is looking to add to our team to help us meet the demands of our customers across the country. You will work onsite at the Darien, WI manufacturing plant on W8880 Cty Rd X, and report to the Production Line Manager.

You will work with the Team to develop practical and important skills necessary to remove losses, reduce yield, and improve the safety and quality of the products. You will be focused on developing and improving manufacturing standards, developing performance-based specifications, and providing the expertise in troubleshooting performance losses.

You Will:

  • Manage metrics for the manufacturing line including efficiency, yield, and Daily Management Systems.
  • Be the plant liaison to R&D including conducting trials.
  • Work with plant and corporate Engineering to develop and install new technologies.
  • Create and train new procedures.
  • Analyze results of experiments and trials to provide process recommendations.
  • Provide technical leadership on projects.

You Have:

  • BS Chemical, Food, Biological, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering required. MS preferred. 
  • Minimum 1 year experience with process technology documentation, including Process Flow Sheets, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, Mass and Energy Balances, Process Control Strategies, and Process Specifications.
  • Understanding of Design of Experiment methodologies.
  • Experience with Deliverables and Success Criteria-based environment.

Compensation: 

Pay Range:$62,000-$91,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
