Dubois Chemicals is looking for an experienced Process Engineer to join the Sharonville Plant team responsible for process design, operation and implementation. Successful candidates will be able to improve industrial processes in order to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability and maximize profitability while improving the safety and quality of our operations. This position reports to the Sharonville Plant Manager and interacts primarily with the plant leadership and supporting functions in operations.
Process Engineer Job Responsibilities:

Developing, optimizing and improving manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality and safety.

Identifying and implementing process improvements to reduce costs, minimize waste and increase efficiency.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of new processes, technologies and equipment.

Monitoring and analyzing process data, identifying trends and proposing solutions for process improvement continuously.

Performing process capability studies, statistical analysis and data-driven decision-making to achieve operational excellence and meet production targets.

Utilizes lean principles to evaluate and value stream map processes with business leaders in the Sharonville plant and supporting functions.

Oversees and assesses existing processes and workflows.

Optimizes productivity by designing, implementing and testing new procedures.

Assembles reports to document process status and changes.

Tracks metrics to discover areas for improvement and monitor upgrades.

Communicates findings and proposals to upper management.

Utilizes process simulation models to test and find the most appropriate production strategies.

Provides thorough instructions for successful implementation of process changes.

Conducts risk assessments.

Assesses compliance with applicable safety and quality standards.

Contributes to departmental efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Work closely with the Plant Manager, Manufacturing Engineer, Maintenance Manager and supervisors to design and improve processes.
Process Engineer Qualifications/Skills:

Familiarity with applicable health and safety regulations

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.

Valid state engineering license
-
At least 5+ years of proven experience in business process engineering.

CAD or AutoCAD skills preferred but not required
