Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Primarily responsible for development and characterization of processes in the applications lab and/or at the customer sites.
  • Design and execute process optimization experiments; characterize, compile, and analyze test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for equipment, process, or material specifications.
  • Work closely with TMEA factory and product team, sales and marketing groups, and other functional areas, to prepare changes, additions, and modifications which will facilitate customer adoption and improve quality of process equipment
  • Work closely with customer engineers and managers as the primary technical interface, managing input for customer demo and integration experiments
  • Provides Technical presentations as required for customers and the field service teams as needed.
  • Responsible for quality execution of all experiments and material processed through the tool
  • Coordinate and execute lab tool activities in the applications lab including process development work, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting
  • Participate in various integration and strategic activities relevant to this product and customer with internal business units
  • Travel within TEL business units and to customer sites as needed, estimate up to 30% of time for travel

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field and two years of professional level experience
  • Must be able to travel 30% of work time

Physical Demands and Work Conditions
The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 35 pounds. This position also requires 4 to 6 hours per day at a computer screen/keyboard.

Salary Ranges

Individual pay is determined based on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skills, job-related knowledge, relevant education, certifications, and/or training.  In addition to base salary, we offer (full time regular employees ) a comprehensive benefits package and for certain roles eligibility in our bonus plan and long-term incentives as applicable.  The talent advisor can share more details about total compensation for the role in your location during the hiring process.
