The Opportunity

This position works out of our Liberty, South Carolina location in the Cardiac Rhythm Management division.

As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias, or irregular heartbeats.

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE

Responsible for assisting the development of new manufacturing processes and equipment for use in production of medical devices. Works on process engineering problems of limited scope Follows standard procedures in executing experiments and process development studies Develops working relationships internally.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in designing or developing new manufacturing processes and equipment, and assist in process verification and validation.
  • Assist in optimizing manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct tests, collect and format data, and assist in analysis of engineering studies (DOEs).
  • Assists in start up of new equipment and execution of validation protocols.
  • Communicate effectively and participate on cross functional development teams.
  • Participates in technical design reviews for process equipment and product design and requirements documents.
  • Responsible for utilizing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree (± 13 years) in an Engineering / Technical Discipline (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Physics preferred).

OR

  • An equivalent combination of education and work experience

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors Degree (± 16 years)

 

Experience/Background

  • 0-3 years Technical or relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of general engineering principals.
  • Technical experience in mechanical or chemical engineering with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in performing engineering calculations, controlled tests, statistical analyses.

The base pay for this position is

$50,000.00 – $100,000.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
