Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Process Development Engineer to support new material and product introduction, process improvement initiatives, and data-driven decision-making. This role will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, continuous improvement, and successful execution of process experiments across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Process Support (60%)

  • Support the development and implementation of new materials and products to enhance solar module performance and manufacturability.
  • Modify and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to process controls.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing challenges.
  • Provide direct support for process improvement projects and experiments.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including specifications, test reports, and process guidelines.

Data Analysis & Reporting (40%)

  • Create and compile routine 2-hour reports to track process performance metrics.
  • Analyze large-scale manufacturing data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Utilize statistical and data visualization tools to communicate findings and support decision-making.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Data Analysis, or Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of project management.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Lean or Six Sigma techniques.
  • Proficiency in supporting tools such as JMP, MS Excel, SQL, and Python (Optional).
  • Background in process improvement methodologies
