About the role:
The Process Engineer provides in-region support for definition and adherence to standard process for Automotive/ Connected Car programs. In addition, this role will support ASPICE activities for assigned programs/projects, participate and be part of the winning solution to customer quality requirements, including input to RFQs and escalations.
What You Will Do
- Support process definition activities in BMS (HARMAN’S Business/Quality Management System)
- Support in the deployment of BMS processes through:
- moderating process definition workshops
- review and approve process artifacts as required
- review and approve contents of process
- support tailoring of standard processes and rollout into projects
- support process piloting, trainings and rollout
- Review and update the BMS processes with BMS Steering Committee (as assigned)
- Support in-region customer requirements and escalations using defined processes and/or provide improvement track as required
- Attend gate reviews and collect and evaluate lessons learned
- Support efforts for RFQ related to quality with specified EU OEMs
- Time-to-time, support special projects based on business needs, related to Engineering Process, Quality and Tools
What You Need
- 5+ years’ experience in the automotive space in quality and system/software development lifecycle
- Experience with ASPICE, CMMi or Six Sigma
- Experience/understanding of Application Lifecycle Management with IBM Rational Suite or similar tool set
- Experience/understanding of configuring, implementing and establishing solutions in tools for Test Mgmt., Requirements Mgmt., Incident Mgmt., Continuous Integration and Software Configuration Management
- Experience with quality related methodologies (DFMEA, FBA, Risk Analysis, LL, 8D…)
- Proactive approach to getting things done and taking responsibility and ownership
- Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure, flexible and focused during times of change
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills with a customer-oriented mindset
- Team Player with structured and logical thinking
- Excellent English and German skills (written and spoken)
