This role will be based in our Fort Lauderdale office on an in-office basis. Regular in-office presence is required for day-to-day operations, as well as for team collaboration, training opportunities, and relationship building.
Position Summary:
The Private Wealth Services Jr. Paralegal will primarily assist attorneys and paralegals in estate administrations and drafting of various estate planning instruments. Must perform in an organized, efficient manner, and be willing to support the department with high level paralegal work and special projects as needed. Candidate should also be flexible to work overtime as needed.
Key Responsibilities

Assists in drafting, proofreading, and organizing estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, etc

Prepares client correspondence and documents for estate administration

Marshaling and obtaining values of estate assets

Drafts and prepares legal forms, letters, and memos as required by attorneys and paralegal.

Education & Prior Experience

Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Must be able to independently, with attorney oversight, handle all aspects of estate and trust administration
Technology

Proficiency with Windows-based software and Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook are required
