Purpose of the Position:
Reporting to the Principal in the International Private Wealth team, which is part of the broader Investor Relations department, this is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the product development of new product initiatives and supporting business development activity across our international teams (ex. US).
The role is to lead the research, analysis, and development of new and existing products for Pantheon’s private equity, private debt, infrastructure, and real assets strategies. Additionally, the successful candidate will have a key role to play in servicing existing clients and developing new business from existing and new relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
New Fund Launches
- Drive the end-to-end process of launching new funds, from concept development to implementation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market needs.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including investment, legal, compliance, risk, and marketing, to craft fund strategies, structures, and required documentation.
- Perform in-depth market analysis and due diligence to uncover opportunities and assess the viability of new fund ideas.
Stakeholder/Project Management
- Assist in developing and managing project plans and provide updates to senior leadership, recommending process improvements as necessary.
- Support senior team members in coordinating the comprehensive scope of product development, including operations, technology, marketing, and finance, fostering collaboration with these departments.
- Prepare product-related presentations and analyses for senior leadership review.
Market Expansion
- Contribute to the expansion of existing products into new international markets.
- Support market entry strategies by conducting regulatory reviews, competitor benchmarking, and identifying distribution channels.
- Collaborate with distribution partners and internal sales teams to promote product adoption and enhance market presence.
Strategic Partnerships
- Build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders, including institutional investors, financial advisors, distribution partners, and service providers.
- Support the execution of strategic partnerships that broaden product offerings, enhance distribution networks, and increase market access.
- Work closely with internal teams to align partnership initiatives with broader business strategies.
The role will be both internally and, after an extensive training period, also externally facing. While the externally facing part of the role will involve attending meetings, a material amount of this work will be internally facing (co-ordination with the Relationship Managers as well as marketing, operations, investment, and legal teams) and much of the investor contact will be conducted by phone and email.
The successful candidate will be results driven and is able to demonstrate a passion for product development and investor relations combining analytical as well as interpersonal skills with the aim to deliver an outstanding experience for the investor.
Specific Technical Knowledge Required:
- Strong knowledge of the asset management and private market industry, with a focus on private equity and private debt/credit;
- Experience with management of funds in domiciled in Luxembourg and/or Ireland;
- Detailed understanding of the fund structuring and product development process;
- Knowledge and understanding of the private wealth market is essential;
- Experience with CRM systems
- Proficiency with computers and software packages; in particular Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledge & Experience Required:
- Strong organisational skills and ability to plan/manage time and budgets
- Ability to work to tight deadlines/under pressure with minimum supervision
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal – we are looking for a “service minded person” able to build long term stable relationships.
- Strong relationship building and influencing skills;
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, discretion and judgement;
- Strong analytical skills and a high level of initiative;
- 5-10 years of relevant experience for Senior Associate level and 10+ years for VP level
- Educated to degree level is essential.

- Language skills such as Spanish or Mandarin will be helpful.
