Brown & Brown is Seeking a Private Client Operations & Marketing Analst to join our growing team in Troy, MI.
The Private Client Operations and Marketing Analyst responsibilities include entering information in databases and maintaining accurate records of valuable company information. Responsibilities also include the administration of marketing new Personal Lines business and renewals, maintaining data and insurance compliance requirements, preparing proposals, marketing campaigns and other documents as needed utilizing a variety of systems.
How You Will Contribute

Conducts and analyzes market research to evaluate market competitiveness.

Supporting the growth of the department.

Determine appropriate markets to be approached for new and existing accounts.

Identify and pursue account rounding with new business opportunities where appropriate.

Work closely with personal lines teammates to understand prospects personal insurance needs.

Develop submissions to carriers and obtain quotes. Respond to underwriters inquiries.

Negotiate terms with carriers on prospects behalf.

Finalize the marketing process and prepare appropriate proposal presentations.

Bind coverage for clients and execute client onboarding process where appropriate.

Develop knowledge of insurance markets on behalf of Brown and Brown.

Serve as technical expert on market trends, pricing practices, and other underwriting policies.

Maintain a high degree of accuracy in agency management systems and technology platforms.

Assist in day-to-day administrative tasks including but not limited to policy checking, processing

endorsements, issuance of certificates of insurance.

Keep current with industry, new product information, legislation, coverages, and technology.

Document sales, prospecting information and campaigns into the CRM when appropriate.

Participate and support ongoing projects related to marketing, customer events and data collection.
Skills & Experience to Be Successful

High School diploma or GED
-
Proficient with MS Office Suite

Exceptional telephone demeanor, writing proficiency, and relationship building skills

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

Property and Casualty Insurance License; Life & Health License (within first 6 months of employment)

Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter

Agreement to maintain minimum acceptable insurance coverage as outlined by the Driving for Business policy

Associate or bachelor’s degree in a business or financial related discipline (preferred)
