Join our dynamic team as a Global Privacy Regulatory Change Lead, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing our global privacy program. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a complex global organization, delivering cross-functional initiatives that drive compliance and innovation. Your expertise will be crucial in navigating privacy regulations and fostering a culture of data protection.
As a Vice President - Global Privacy Regulatory Change Lead in the Firmwide Privacy Office, you will support the design, development and implementation of our privacy regulatory change program. You will work closely with key stakeholders to implement privacy strategies that align with our firm's goals. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring that our privacy practices meet global standards and support our data-driven initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and support initiatives to enhance the firm's global privacy regulatory change program.
- Design and implement critical programs across various privacy domains to ensure compliance with global standards.
- Advise on privacy requirements for new initiatives and regulatory changes.
- Advise on changes required to be made for governance documentation, including policies and procedures, to align with regulatory expectations.
- Monitor global privacy regulatory developments and assess their impact on the organization.
- Conduct privacy maturity assessments and risk evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct regular training and awareness programs on privacy regulations and compliance requirements.
- Develop privacy controls and deliver training programs to ensure compliance and awareness.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver complex initiatives and drive regulatory change.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in privacy program design and implementation, with a focus on regulatory change.
- Proven ability to advise on privacy requirements for new initiatives and regulatory developments.
- Knowledge of global privacy laws, including GDPR and CCPA, and their application in a corporate setting.
- Ability to work independently and manage relationships across functions and regions.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience in privacy at a financial institution.
- Familiarity with the three lines of defense model.
- Privacy certifications such as CIPM or CIPP
