Being a Principal Solutions Consultant at iManage Means…
You will collaborate with Customer Experience leadership to expand our service offerings and drive business growth for iManage. Your focus will be on ensuring customer success and fostering strong adoption among our clients.
The Solutions Consulting team is an integral part of the broader iManage Customer Experience (CX) Team. Our mission is to accelerate customer adoption and align with their business objectives. A keen eye for detail, a strong sense of quality, and the ability to translate technical capabilities into clear business benefits will be crucial for success in this role.

iM Responsible For…
- Services Sales: Being the primary point of contact for the development of our services proposals, estimates and scoping calls as well as developing pre-sales consulting collateral to streamline the production of proposals, estimates, and Statements of Work. Strategizing with our Customer Experience and Sales teams to enhance our services sales process within iManage, including the transition to subscription-based consulting services offerings
- Building Synergy with other iManage Departments: Providing lessons learned and other feedback from internal and external stakeholders to other departments within iManage such as Customer Success, Product Management, Sales, and Adoption team leaders. Actioning applicable areas of improvement to improve the overall customer experience within our target customer base.
- Documentation: Creating client deliverables such as presentations, preliminary solution design documentation and task lists. Supporting case study development and providing lessons learned feedback to our Professional Services and Customer Success teams
- Industry and Tech Trends: Maintaining a working knowledge of current and trending technologies both internally and within the LegalTech industry, as well as their applicability to the organization
- Getting results: Taking initiatives from conception to completion; tackle sophisticated problems in what can be at times an ambiguous environment; lead and influence cross functional teams; provide insights and encourage standard methodologies; present strategy to key influencers and senior leadership.
- Offering intelligence: Becoming the authority on the buyers and users of your offerings. Use data (quantitative and qualitative) to form hypotheses and help shape the CX portfolio growth strategy.
- Product expertise: Understanding deeply how IManage is sold, branded, and consumed by customers.
iM Qualified Because I Have…
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in a technical consulting, consulting sales, or Customer Success position
- Experience with the deployment of Enterprise Content Management, Information Governance, and Artificial Intelligence Solutions within the legal or professional services industries.
- Excellent business analysis skills: ability to lead technical sessions focused on project methodologies and deployment strategies, an understanding of product usability, communication of implementation best practices, and prioritization of user and functional requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a technical field
- A team-player mindset with a focus on building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues
- Strong communication and presentation abilities tailored for different levels of the organization.
- The ability to self-motivate and be well-organized; able to successfully manage multiple priorities and aggressive business goals.
- A high degree of intellectual curiosity and ability to learn and apply new concepts and technologies quickly.

The overall US annual base salary range for this position is $140,000–$216,000. Individual compensation for each candidate depends on factors such as qualifications, experience, and candidate location. This range does not include additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses, commission, or benefits.
