Job Description

Renesas' automotive MCUs holds the No. 1 world-wide market share, and we are now aiming to expand our product lineup to achieve further business growth. Therefore, creating a need to strengthen the organization accordingly. Software Development is a vital element necessary to expand our business and this is also why we would like to invite talented Engineers to join us on our mission.​​​​​​​

• Background
  • Computer Science Master graduate (OS architecture / System programming)
  • Over 5 years of embedded SW development (Linux-based, RTOS-based)
• Expected past experiences
  • Linux experience
    • Device driver development
    • System programming & integration
    • System tuning (boot time,
  • RTOS experience (Zephyr preferred)
  • FUSA experience
  • Team development by fully utilizing distributed code management like git
• OSS experience
  • OSS developer experience
  • OSS project leadership experience
    • Act as reviewer
    • Act as maintainer
    • Project operation support (Steering committee member, board member,..)
• Past track record
  • Code submission & reviewed record (in public repos)
  • OSS conference presentation experience

Qualifications

• • Manage SW enablement team (in-house)
  • Zephyr FUSA development lead (community)
  • Xen FUSA development lead (community)
  • fostering young developers in the team (in-house)
