ABOUT THIS POSITION
We are looking for a Principal Software Data Engineer to drive the design, development, and delivery of our SaaS analytics applications with a focus on innovation, multi-tenant security, scalability, and performance. As a key technical leader, you will play a hands-on role in architecture, coding, and mentoring while shaping our long-term technology strategy.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Lead SaaS Analytics Development

Architect and develop multi-tenant, cloud-native analytics applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Ensure scalability, reliability, and security in a multi-tenant environment.
Drive Technical Excellence
-
Design and optimize data pipelines, transformations, and queries using .NET, SQL Server, Snowflake, and BigQuery.

Build interactive dashboards and reporting solutions using Looker.

Develop and maintain JavaScript-based front-end and backend services.
Set Strategy & Best Practices
-
Define and implement architecture standards, coding practices, and security guidelines for SaaS analytics.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Data Science, DevOps) to align business goals with technical execution.
Mentor & Lead Engineering Teams

Provide technical mentorship to engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Conduct code reviews, design sessions, and performance tuning.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
-
10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3+ years in a principal or technical lead role.

Expertise in GCP services (BigQuery, Cloud Functions, IAM, Pub/Sub).

Strong experience in JavaScript/TypeScript for front-end and C# backend development.

Deep understanding of multi-tenant SaaS security models.

Experience with Looker (LookML, dashboard design, data modeling).

Proven ability to drive architecture decisions, cloud cost optimization, and system performance tuning.

Passion for mentoring engineers, driving technical strategy, and influencing leadership.

Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security best practices in SaaS.
