The Red Hat Ansible Engineering team (https://www.ansible.com/) is looking for a software engineer in the Bangalore area. If you are a highly motivated professional who wants to work with a high performing team to deliver a high quality user experience for our customers, then please read on.
As a Software Engineer in the Ansible organization, you will be working across geos with technical team members to analyze, design, develop, debug, and deliver new products and feature functionality for the Ansible offerings. You will get an opportunity to collaborate with diverse agile teams around the world to deliver value for our customers and partners in an open source way.
This is also a great opportunity to hone your skills while working with a wide range of modern languages, frameworks, and technologies. What will you do?

Develop and maintain software to automatically provision, upgrade, monitor, and heal Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.

Work with technical leads and the business to understand feature requirements. Help break requirements down into smaller units of work.

Contribute to all aspects of product delivery, including design/architecture, development, testing, documentation, and deployment.
What will you bring?

Passion for learning new technologies, building elegant software systems, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and automation.

Software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile or scrum processes
-
7 + years of software engineering experience using object-oriented languages; Python and Django
-
3+ year experience with Kubernetes, Docker and Containers
-
Experience with containers on Linux
-
Excellent communications skills in a global team environment

Ability to work Hybrid from Bangalore
The following are considered as a plus:

Writing Ansible playbooks and administering the Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform
