Principal Scientist , R&D - Transformation
We are seeking a visionary Principal Scientist to join our North America R&D Transformation team , where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of knowledge management, data analytics, and digital R&D transformation . As a subject matter expert in these areas , you will drive business impact, improve efficiency, and foster a culture of innovation. This candidate should have a proven record of understanding business need s and champion ing knowledge , data , and digital in an organization . C ommunication, drive for results, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills are essential in this role. This position requires an individual to have a collaborative mindset and apply innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop deep knowledge of product portfolio data and systems , unlocking insights that inform strategic decisions .
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and deliver targeted results , r ecommendations , and solutions for areas such as new product and packaging development , cost optimization , sustainability , regulatory compliance , and special projects .
- I nterpret complex data , synthesize findings , and visualize insights to drive a ction -oriented recommendations that propel business success .
- Leverage programming, cod ing , data engineering expertise to simplify data gathering , analysis, and reports for worldwide users.
- Develop compelling use cases for R&D , harnessing power of new digital and AI/ML tools.
- Administer and maintain R&D Institutional Knowledge , ensuring preservation of h istoric knowledge repositories ( physical and digitally based ) .
- Design and deliver training on K nowledge Management and Digital tools and practices , empowering R&D to excel in evolving landscape.
Qualifications :
- BS in Business , Information Management, Computer or Data Sciences or related field and/or relevant experience
- Excellent communication, analytical, process design , and problem-solving skills
- Proven a bility to lead, coach , and collaborate with others , driving results through influence and expertise
- Adept at managing multiple assignments and deadlines concurrently and prioritize tasks with ease
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Power Platform including Excel , Power Pivot, Power Apps, Power Automate , Power BI , SharePoint
- Strong Foundation in Data E ngineering and Programming , such as SQL and Python
- Familiarity with SAP and PLM systems for Global Specifications and Data
- Strong understanding of AI and Machine Learning concepts , with passion for exploring new technologies and methodologies
- Exposure to Agile methodologies , Snowflake , ServiceNow , E lectronic Lab Notebook s , Regulatory landscape is a plus

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$102,100.00 - $127,600.00
Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
