The Job/What You’ll Do:
As the Principal architect, you will play a transformational role in re-imaging current salesforce implementation and drive future solution and strategy. You will work along the side of talented professionals and drive the testing strategy for our cutting-edge implementations.

Responsibilities:
Solution Design and Architecture:

Create scalable and efficient Salesforce solutions tailored to meet business needs.

Design workflows, data models, and custom functionalities while ensuring best practices are followed.
Platform Customization:

Implement customized solutions using Salesforce development tools like Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
Integration:

Lead the integration of Salesforce with other business systems such as ERP, marketing automation platforms, and third-party applications.
Stakeholder Collaboration:

Work closely with stakeholders, including business leaders and technical teams, to ensure that solutions meet business requirements and goals.
Technical Leadership:

Provide technical guidance to Salesforce developers and administrators, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and meet quality standards.
Security and Compliance:
-
Ensure that the Salesforce platform adheres to security and regulatory requirements, including data privacy laws and industry standards.
Documentation:
-
Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture, workflows, and development processes for future reference and onboarding.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Salesforce Expertise:
-
In-depth knowledge of Salesforce platform features, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and custom objects.
Technical Proficiency:

Proficient in Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, and Salesforce Lightning components.
Integration Knowledge:
-
Experience with API integration, data migration, and connecting Salesforce to third-party applications and databases.
Problem-Solving Abilities:
-
Skilled in troubleshooting complex technical challenges and implementing innovative solutions.
Communication Skills:
-
Ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
Education & Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Platform Developer, or System Architect.

5+ years of experience in Salesforce architecture, design, and implementation.

Strategic Thinker: Ability to think long-term and design scalable solutions that meet both immediate and future business needs.

Attention to Detail: Precise attention to detail in both technical design and execution is critical.

Collaborative: Must work well with cross-functional teams including developers, stakeholders, and project managers.
This role is pivotal in ensuring that the Salesforce platform is optimized, scalable, and aligned with the company’s business goals, driving sales, customer success, and service excellence.
Compensation: The Base Salary range for this position is between $190,000-$205,000.
This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location. This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.
