Mr. Cooper is looking for a Principal, Revenue Operations & Online Growth to join our Marketing Team. You will enjoy a fast-paced financial services environment company with over 6 million customers and will be responsible for performance and maximizing profitability for the mortgage originations team. This role will partner with internal teams to plan and develop insights to inform our online marketing strategy and annual plans. Qualified candidates will have demonstrated experience developing & implementing financial performance plans that promote revenue growth.

This role requires a strategic thought leader who can roll-up their sleeves and get things done. The ideal candidates understands how to drive business profitability through marketing ecosystems and has a proven ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate with other key decision-makers in a complex highly cross-functional / cross-product environment. You will improve customer recapture through our online growth and related financial analyses/reporting.

You should possess a unique blend of marketing expertise, marketing KPI acumen, agility, and communication skills and also have a passion for data, reporting, and online campaign optimization. This individual must bring strategic insight and have a firm understanding of the nuances of B2C mortgage marketing. This role will drive business and growth outcomes and has a passion for making an impact.

Primary day-to-day responsibilities: 

  • Implement performance improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and profitability.

  • Provide strategic online growth recommendations to optimize spending allocation and achieve financial targets.

  • Work closely with Finance and Marketing to identify and assess financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Define ‘metrics that matter’ and manage the process to package these measurements into dashboards and reports to measure online performance.

  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and executive summaries that identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Conceptual and analytical thinker who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Highly self-motivated, accountable, and flexible with an ability to drive timelines and manage competing agendas in an environment where process isn’t always defined.

  • Actively monitor, analyze and report on financial results. Be a key contributor in deep-dive analysis and Executive presentations of online performance.

  • Understand strategic and technical fundamentals of customer marketing.

  • Be a conceptual, analytical, and creative thinker who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Self-motivate, drive timelines, and manage competing agendas in an environment where process isn’t always defined. 

  • Possess a deep understanding of consumer segmentation.

  • Practice outstanding oral/written communication. 

  • Strong oral/written communication, with proven abilities in strategy, writing, proofreading and editing.

Education/Training Required 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or finance.

  • 5+ years’ experience in marketing, executing high-impact consumer-focused marketing.

  • Proven track record of deploying successful marketing strategies and tactics that yielded significant online traffic and financial growth. 

  • Strong knowledge of marketing best practices and project management.

  • Excellent follow-up and organizational skills, adept at managing multiple priorities.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with senior leaders, vendors, and subject matter experts.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.

  • Deep knowledge of the mortgage industry landscape.

  • This role is remote-capable. Less than 10% travel for agency visits, conferences, and skills development.
