We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to Helsinki to take a part in testing complex, distributed, and sophisticated networking security products. Our products are used by thousands organizations all over the world for protecting privacy, data, communication and even lives - everything that is valuable for us. About the product
Forcepoint secure SD-WAN and next generation firewall protects enterprise networks with high performance “intelligence aware” security supported by real-time updates. This enables Forcepoint to deliver the industry’s best defense against advanced evasions, along with complete next-generation firewall protection when and where you need it - At remote sites, branch offices, data centers, and the network edge.
Essential Functions:
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Work closely with product management and engineering leadership to estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
- Design, develop and execute test automation scripts
- Maintain and configure HW and virtual test environments
- Work closely with developers and architects to debug issues throughout software lifecycle
Qualifications/Skills:
-
6+ years of experience working with different network (security) products, preferably in quality assurance related role.

Strong understanding of networking protocols (L2-L7: Ethernet, ARP, TCP/IP, DNS, TLS etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong experience in Python or any other script languages
- Strong experience with Linux
- Strong experience working with virtual environments
- Suitable Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree, or advanced ongoing studies
- Professional and effective communications skills – both verbal and written

English language skills are essential
Additional skills:

Experience of network security products (especially Next-Generation Firewalls, IPS/IDS)

Experience with Keysight BreakingPoint and/or Open Source performance testing tools

Experience of public cloud environments
