The Principal Project Manager – Pricing plays a critical role in driving system enhancement initiatives that optimize Pricing Solutions. These solutions include projects and products, applications, technologies, processes, and shared infrastructure and application services. This position provides strategic leadership, analysis, and design expertise to ensure technology solutions align with business objectives.
Working collaboratively with Product, Sales, Operations, Pricing, and Digital Technology teams, the Principal Project Manager oversees process decisions, business requirements, and technology solutions. How You'll Create Possibilities

Project Leadership & System Enhancement Development

  • Lead multiple cross-functional projects to enhance Pricing systems and support the growth of Air and Water sales.

  • Oversee project resources, manage critical paths, and proactively identify and remove roadblocks to ensure timely delivery.

  • Conduct primary business analysis in collaboration with operations and functional teams to define project scope.

  • Develop comprehensive business use cases and define functional requirements to streamline business processes across strategic platform systems.

  • Facilitate cross-functional testing sessions to validate business functionality and develop regression test plans to ensure system stability.

  • Address issue management, escalate concerns to business leadership as needed, and manage interdependencies across programs.

Process Enhancement & Operational Efficiency

  • Collaborate with business and technology teams to identify and implement cross-functional and technical solutions to improve operational workflows.

  • Apply Six Sigma and Lean methodologies to drive productivity and reduce defects at all project phases.

  • Develop deep expertise in Pricing and order management processes, ensuring best practices are integrated into system enhancements.

  • Lead process improvement initiatives to minimize cost and timeline while maintaining high-quality outcomes.

Change Management & Business Readiness

  • Conduct stakeholder reviews to ensure alignment with business objectives.

  • Manage project communication, keeping teams, stakeholders, and leadership informed of project progress.

  • Advocate for change management and process simplification, promoting standardization and continuous improvement.

  • Support teams in adopting new processes by providing training and clear documentation.

Innovation & Competitive Benchmarking

  • Research industry trends and benchmark best practices to ensure Pricing systems remain competitive.

  • Drive agile thinking in pricing processes, challenging business leaders to explore innovative solutions.

  • Leverage technology to streamline pricing operations and enhance customer experience.

What You'll Bring to Our Team

Required:

  • Commercial & Business Acumen: Strong understanding of commercial principles with a customer-focused mindset.

  • Situational Adaptability: Ability to adjust approach and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Advanced critical thinking and data analysis expertise.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to build trust and foster relationships across teams.

  • Project Management Expertise: Ability to lead projects, manage competing priorities, and drive execution.

  • Communication & Organizational Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, with the ability to clearly convey complex ideas.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

  • 7+ years of experience implementing and managing enterprise-wide systems and enhancements.

  • Proven track record in project leadership, stakeholder management, and business process optimization.

  • Experience working with project management tools and delivering results in high-stakes environments.

Preferred:

  • System Development Expertise: Knowledge of Project Lifecycle Development, Agile methodologies, and Scrum frameworks.

  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Excel, Microsoft Access, PowerPoint, Visio, Smartsheet, JIRA, or similar tools.

  • Enterprise Systems Experience: 7+ years working with Oracle systems, PriceFx, Salesforce, CRM, WebADI, Apploaders.

  • Pricing & Industry Knowledge: Experience with pricing strategies, quoting processes, and price development in industries such as HVAC, Plumbing, and Appliance sales.

  • Vendor & Contract Management: Experience navigating sourcing processes, managing vendor contracts, and overseeing third-party software development.
