Role and Responsibilities:

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop a detailed project plan, including tasks, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, including project charters and risk assessments.
  • Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders and team members.
  • Conduct regular project meetings.
  • Prepare reports for sponsors and executives.
  • Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Conduct quality reviews and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
 
Must Have Skills:

  •  5-7 years experience in Project Management.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies, with a strong understanding of project lifecycle, scope management, and resource allocation.
  • Understanding labor aspects of large transformative I.T. projects and/or M&A PM experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate clear and effective communication with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Strong leadership qualities to guide and inspire teams, foster collaboration, and drive project success
  • Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and keep projects on schedule
  • Proficient in managing relationships with diverse stakeholders, including clients, team members, and executives, to ensure project alignment with organizational goals
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address issues promptly and find creative solutions to overcome obstacles

Nice To Have Skills:

  • 7-10 years of Project Management experience.
  • PMI certification (PMP or PMI-ACP)
  • Familiarity with global travel trends, cultures, and regulations to effectively navigate diverse landscapes
  • Multilingual Proficiency, Especially in Spanish or French
  • Familiarity with travel-specific technologies, booking systems, and emerging tools that optimize operational efficiency within the travel industry. Exceptional customer service skills to ensure a positive and seamless experience for travel agents, addressing concerns promptly and proactively.
