Job Description:

The Principal Program Manager is responsible for driving outcomes for the most strategic programs within the portfolio. They lead the design and management of complex programs from initiation through to delivery. They create alignment with cross-functional collaboration and communication across multiple departments. They also shape the strategy, framework and processes of the EPMO.

Who you’re committed to being:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with executive sponsors and key leaders to enable alignment on program progress/needs

  • Lead teams in defining scope, crafting and maintaining roadmaps and program plans based on business objectives.

  • Maintain program artifacts and foster successful knowledge management for programs and projects

What you’ll do:

  • Lead effective operational, program and executive-level meetings

  • Integrate multiple inputs to maintain and communicate program information and health status (budget, scope, schedule, and quality)

  • Mitigate risks, resolve critical issues and escalations and monitor dependencies across the program(s)

Experience you’ll bring:

  • Experience in program/project management or similar applicable experience

  • Thorough understanding of project management methodologies and frameworks

  • Hands-on experience with using, building and implementing adoption of various project management tools based on program needs (ex. Microsoft Excel, Atlassian - Jira/Confluence, SmartSheet, LeanKit, Google Workspace)

  • Experience leading successful complex, cross-functional teams while managing relationships with external partners in an agile and fast-paced environment with limited oversight

  • Certifications preferred (e.g., CSM, PMP, SAFe, Six Sigma)

Requirements:

  • Requires a minimum of 12 years of related or equivalent experience; or 8+ years and an advanced degree.

Travel Requirements:

While Pluralsight operates under a remote and hybrid work model, we believe that in-person connection and collaboration are important. Recurring travel to our HQ in Utah may be required depending on the role and team member location.

The annual US base salary range for this role is $143,000 - $176,600 USD. Pluralsight's pay ranges vary based on work location. Talent Acquisition can share more detail during the hiring process when applicable. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. In addition to the base salary, this role may also be eligible for benefits and bonuses.
