The Opportunity

As a technical principal product manager, you will work with marketing business leaders and IT teams to build out our marketing content supply chain using our own groundbreaking Adobe products. You will collect and prioritize key business requirements to enable Adobe marketers to plan, create, optimize, and measure impactful, brand consistent content with efficiency, speed and scale. You will log feedback and work with product engineering to guide future roadmap delivery.


What You'll Do

  • Understand the needs of global marketing in our products, services and platforms.
  • Translate customer needs into clear, prioritized requirements with supporting journey maps.
  • Build key use cases as the basis for comprehensive, end-to-end features and user acceptance testing for marketing solutions.
  • Deliver features, capabilities and tools that help the Adobe marketing organization meet their strategic goals.
  • Analyze and map data to augment requirements and/or aid in decision making.
  • Build and measure success metrics/criteria.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to higher-level management including a roadmap, progress, risks and opportunities for marketing-focused capabilities and processes.
  • Collect continuous feedback and share with IT and product teams to ensure successful delivery.
     

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Business or Technology field
  • 5+ years of professional product management experience in a technology field or well-defined internal-facing product.
  • Understanding of technical environments, marketing data, and marketing operations.
  • Experience in building a marketing content supply chain preferred.
  • A self-starter, clearing obstacles with a resourceful and creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, balanced with the ability to absorb large amounts of information and distill it down to the essentials.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and take a leadership role as a subject matter specialist to meet ambitious goals.
  • Proven track record in highly cross-functional projects, working with product and technical teams with multiple priorities.
  • Strong technical aptitude for learning new technologies and understanding how these will help the business.

The U.S. pay range for this position is $145,100 -- $273,200 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
