We’re looking for a Principal Product Manager to lead a new strategic initiative within our Observability Agents team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for defining vision, strategy, and roadmap for an enterprise-grade solution that orchestrates and streamlines the lifecycle of observability agents and integrations.You'll collaborate closely with engineering and product design to solve complex challenges around instrumentation, configuration, and data management with new systems and experiences. What you'll do

  • Define and drive the product strategy for our next-generation observability orchestration solution and align your vision with broader company goals
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Product Design, Sales, and Marketing to translate customer insights and technical opportunities into impactful product capabilities
  • Evangelize the product vision internally and externally, providing thought leadership on how modern observability practices can transform DevOps efficiency and drive customer value
  • Engage deeply in technical design discussions around distributed systems, client-server architectures, cloud native stacks, and advanced instrumentation workflows, leveraging your strong engineering or equivalent background
  • Steer end-to-end product development from concept through launch, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery, continuous iteration, and measurable business success
  • Champion product excellence by setting high standards for design, user experience, security, and performance while addressing complex enterprise needs at scale
  • Coach and influence the broader product and engineering teams as a subject-matter expert with clear priorities, measurable goals, and unwavering focus on customer success

 

This role requires

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, software engineering, or related technical field, with hands-on software development or equivalent background
  • Proven track record of leading complex, highly technical products through the full development lifecycle, ideally in an enterprise of B2B context
  • Deep understanding of client-server architectures (Linux, Windows), cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, containers, microservices), and modern software development practices
  • Familiarity with observability concepts (metrics, logs, traces, instrumentation, data pipelines) and/or related platforms is a strong plus
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to distill intricate engineering details into compelling product narratives for diverse audiences of both engineering and non-technical stakeholders
  • Customer-obsessed mindset, always seeking ways to solve real-world customer challenges and deliver the best possible user experience
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, adept at influencing cross-functional teams and aligning multiple stakeholders towards a common vision with clear, measurable outcomes
  • Passion for innovation and an energy to navigate uncharted territory, a willingness to guide teams through ambiguous design phases, and a drive to shape the future of observability at scale
