VMware @ Broadcom is looking for a seasoned senior product manager responsible for driving VCF Division's storage and data products. You will be working to evangelize, insert and expand VMware’s flagship storage product, vSAN ESA and Data Services with customers, identify use cases, insertion strategies and deliver business case and technical collateral. This team is a fast-paced start-up environment where the successful candidate will wear many hats. You’ll be part of a dedicated and passionate team that has an open communication, empowerment, innovation, teamwork and customer success culture. 

Responsibilities: 

• Work closely with storage and data engineering teams to drive product strategy, roadmap and direction. Define product requirements and develop PRDs and User Experience workflows for new storage and data products.

• Engage closely with sales teams and customers to drive VCF product sales and deployments

• Work closely with product management and architects to provide feedback on feature prioritization, product design, implementation, testing and maintenance

• Help build and drive early customer engagements.

• Produce technical collateral (white papers, videos, blogs) on technical and business value of VCF portfolio for large private cloud customers 

• Speak at conferences, vMUGs and related forums

• Engage with analysts and press 

Required Skills:

• Thorough knowledge of storage and data landscape: hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI), disaggregated primary and secondary storage platforms, traditional and modern databases 

• Deep understanding of private and public and public cloud infrastructure

• Articulate and ability to deliver impactful message to customers and partners

• Speaking experience on industry forums and conferences

• Experience in AR/PR activities Required 

Education/Experience: 

• BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering related field plus 8 years of related experience OR

• MBA or MS in Computer Science or Engineering related field plus 5 years of related experience.

Compensation and Benefits:

The annual base salary range is highly competitive. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
