About The Role & Team

Join Amplitude’s Experiment team as a Principal Product Manager and help shape the future of web experimentation. You will be part of a passionate group of product managers, engineers and designers who are working to help modern businesses transform their products through data and experimentation. This role offers a unique opportunity to scale a high-impact product that’s less than a year old, leveraging your expertise in web experimentation to influence its growth and strategy. You’ll collaborate closely with customers, prospects, and internal teams, playing a key role in Amplitude’s expanding focus on marketers.

As a Principal Product Manager for Web Experiment, you will:

  • Engage deeply with customers to uncover insights and identify opportunities for innovation
  • Define and drive the Web Experiment product strategy, making experimentation more efficient, insightful, and impactful for customers
  • Be a thought leader and practitioner in web experimentation, driving best practices both internally and with our customers
  • Partner with product, engineering, and data science leaders to integrate analytics, machine learning, experimentation and other Amplitude platform capabilities into a unified, digital analytics offering
  • Lead the GTM strategy for the product line, operating as a general manager for the business 

You'll be a great addition to the team if you have:

  • Experience using A/B testing tools, web performance metrics, and experimentation frameworks
  • Understanding of the needs of growth marketers / digital experience managers / web product managers
  • Proven track record of delivering successful product features in collaboration with design and engineering teams
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity—adapting to a fast-paced, evolving product landscape
  • Sharp judgment in prioritization—knowing what to say no to and when to go all in
  • Familiarity with data science and statistical methods, or a strong willingness to learn quickly

Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in San Francisco Bay Area of California. Salary range: $213,000 - $384,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission) plus equity.
