The RoleYou will be responsible for the full life cycle of Energy Management System (EMS) & Generation Management System(GMS) products in projects delivered using AspenTech - OSI’s monarch platform for customers across different geographies. You are expected to possess good knowledge of power systems analysis, electric utility operations, control, optimization and managing a skilled team.

Your Impact

  • Work directly with customers to define requirements for advanced control systems.
  • Understand project requirements through interactions with project engineering and other stakeholders, and design solutions to meet these requirements.
  • Oversee power system modelling, Analysis, and electrical design aspects of projects from the feasibility stage through implementation and operations.
  • Manage design and development of custom applications to meet project requirements.
  • Lead quality assurance efforts to ensure products are adequately tested and meet OSI quality standards.
  • Consult on power system applications to ensure the effective use and maintenance of a customer's power system application.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards and trends.

What You'll Need

  • Graduate in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics engineering / Post-graduate in Power Systems or related discipline is desirable.
  • 10+years’ work experience in Power System Analysis and Energy Management Systems.
  • Understanding of use-cases for electric utilities is good to have.
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts with development using C# or Python along with basic – intermediate understanding of SQL is good to have.
  • Basic knowledge of databases and data warehousing.
  • Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work on several projects in parallel.
  • Ability and flexibility to travel based on project need.
  • Ability to lead a team and act as a mentor for team members.
