The Opportunity
The Principal, Portfolio Integration Experience (PIE) office supports the strategy, execution and delivery of the new product roadmap, the product migrations and platform strategy. This role will be accountable for the overall program management of the PIE initiatives and will act as a strategic partner to the SVP, PIE turning their vision of the program into reality. The incumbent will partner with a group of cross-functional stakeholders to steer, govern and coordinate product migrations. This role will support the PIE team with meeting preparation, analysis, problem solving, identifying system and product dependencies, timelines and program insight preparation. This position will manage the IMO tool and prepare standard reporting to drive the overall execution of the PIE team, understanding and communicating the dependencies of the stakeholders, and the overall impact of the product migrations, to the financial institutions. Incumbent will ensure the coordination of product migrations, evaluating processing platforms for solutions and manage dependencies across Velera to ensure the migrations of products occur on time and on budget. This will include building cross functional teams and relationships while trying to minimize client disruption by identifying and communicating any gaps and operational excellence while the portfolios and platforms are migrated. Assist with understanding client expectations, past experiences, product features and education of gaps products and process. Will work with a cross functional team to identify gaps and differences with various platforms, process, product (i.e. billing, reports, disputes, online banking and core systems).

Program Management

Identifies strategies and coordinates teams to identify complex issues, brings together initiative owners to solve complex issues, challenges

Decision maker within the PIE

Coordinate the product clusters with initiative owners ensuring all internal teams have awareness and understanding of the status, impacts and timing

Plan complex product migrations and programs with enterprise, cross-functional, and strategic impact for Velera and it’s financial institutions

Drive execution working closely with the leadership, sponsor, core team, and SMEs through project initiation through implementation and transition to BAU
-
Understand the issues, identify the root cause, frame resolution options, articulate the findings in an actionable way, and drive the decision with the relevant stakeholders

Provides program management of the overall migration effort related within the IMO, working in conjunction with leaders, initiative owners and other stakeholders

Project and Program Management · Plan complex product migrations and programs with enterprise, cross-functional, and strategic impact for Velera and its financial institutions
Business Analysis

Drive the problem solving of cross-functional issues, weighing the input of various stakeholders, and keeping in mind the overall initiative goals

Manage risks, issues & dependencies, bringing appropriate stakeholders together to determine and detail solutions; then follow through on tracking and managing resolution.

Work with the cross-functional stakeholders to facilitate prioritization and business decisions

Manage overall program budget.

Create metrics and dashboards to track program objectives and measure impact

Identify, communicate and clear roadblocks that could cause migration delays

Ability to bridge across multiple, often interdependent, initiatives to manage to net financial outcomes (both savings and investments) and to highlight and manage dependencies
Communications and Change Management

Effective communicator with sufficient business acumen and operational experience to advise and influence the cross-functional team and update the leaders within the IMO

Understand and utilize change management principles and best practices

Report status by providing periodic updates, highlighting risks, issues, and concerns Identify dependencies on products, process, and settings across Velera

Manage and align stakeholder expectations within and/or across functions
Administrative

Serves as the IMO Tool point of contact for the PIE team, creating and managing updates and dependencies

Prepares materials for ongoing PIE meetings

Tracks action items and timelines and ensures follow up on outstanding items

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
-
10+ years experience in operations management or project management role involving senior executives preferred.

Operational and/or product knowledge with Velera solutions is preferred.
