In this leadership role, you will be leading a team responsible for building tools for engineers, platform wide improvements, driving digital transformation etc. You will work with business leaders/technology partners to create the product road map and manage any product changes through the development, user acceptance testing and implementation processes. You are passionate about continuous improvement and bringing impactful changes using latest technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with engineering team and functional leaders in order to build the product from concept till execution.
- The ability to clearly communicate concepts to non-technical partners in addition to technical peers.
- Conduct extensive Product Discovery, competitor research to come up with valuable solutions for the business.
- Actively manage different stakeholders, vendors and product team. Play the role of an un-blocker for the team.
- Come up with 1-3 years roadmap for the team and keeping it updated with changing needs.
- Work with team to setup strong KPIs for all the initiatives taken up by team.
- Foster the culture of innovation to drive a continuous improvement process - introduce new tools & automations etc.
- Lead the agile ceremonies and help the team to be agile.
- Prioritize to manage ad-hoc requests in parallel with ongoing projects
Required Qualifications
- A highly talented and self-driven technical product owner with 13+ years of overall experience and 3+ years actively as product manager/owner.
- Has excellent analytical and communication skills with proven ability to influence leaders and internal stakeholders.
- Proven experience defining product strategy from scratch with implementation success.
- Strong hold in Product Discovery/Competitor research
- Refine and prioritize the work in the backlog according to business value.
- Extensive experience working in an Agile methodology with experience in Vendor management.
- Have deep curiosity on technology trends and being able to go deep into technology and relate technical enhancements to build product vision.
Preferred Qualifications
- Sound Banking/financial domain knowledge [e.g Wealth management/Investment banking etc]
- Experience working with cross-commit teams in large enterprise setup.
- Experience in digital transformation.
- Conceptual mind set and the ability to effectively balance short and long-term objectives.
- Experience with DevSecOps and cloud technologies like AWS, Jenkins, CICD etc.
