The Principal Intelligent Architect at Cox Enterprises will be instrumental in defining and executing the strategy, design, and implementation of our Intelligent Automation (IA) platforms. This role will primarily focus on leveraging UIPath and other emerging IA technologies to enhance our platform's capabilities. The Principal IA Architect will drive the maturity and strategic direction of our IA practice, ensuring seamless integration with the enterprise's centralized data platforms.

The Principal IA Architect will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and partners to foster a collaborative environment that promotes innovation and excellence. This position requires a blend of hands-on technical expertise and visionary thought leadership to deliver scalable, secure, and innovative solutions that align with our enterprise goals.
Platform Strategy and Design

  • Define and lead the strategic direction for IA platforms, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategies and business outcomes.


  • Architect and deliver scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions using UI Path and other emerging platforms.


  • Develop IA blueprints & governance frameworks and implement best practices in collaboration with business and technical leaders.


Implementation and Delivery

  • Drive the creation and maintenance of IA capabilities across the enterprise.


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IA framework, templates, development checklist and good practices for developing automation.


  • Provide technical leadership for IA solution & platform deployment


Governance and Standards

  • Champion architectural governance, establishing and promoting standards for IA architecture, data privacy, security and compliance with relevant regulations.


  • Develop reusable architectural patterns and ensure adherence to enterprise architecture frameworks.


  • Facilitate technical reviews to maintain consistency and quality across IA platform initiatives.


Innovation and Collaboration

  • Stay informed on emerging data and IA technologies, evaluating their applicability to business challenges.


  • Act as a key advisor to leadership on trends, risks, and opportunities within IA architecture and related domains.


  • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous learning across architecture and IA solution development teams.


Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable automation solutions.


  • Build strong relationships with teams across the organization, ensuring alignment on priorities and objectives.


Qualifications : Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline and 10 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as master's degree and 8 years' experience; a Ph.D and 5 years' experience in a related field; or 22 years' experience in a related field. (Master's preferred).


  • 10+ years of experience in EA, Automation platforms & architecture, platform development, or related fields.


  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in IA technologies, including robotic process automation (RPA), machine learning, and artificial intelligence


  • 10+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing IA solutions in a large enterprise environment


  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in programming languages and frameworks relevant to IA development.


  • Experience in integrating IA solutions with centralized data platforms


Preferred

  • Relevant certifications in IA technologies, such as UIPath Certified Professional, can be advantageous


  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines for data integration.


  • Demonstrated leadership in complex automation (IA) projects across large-scale organizations.

USD 159,400.00 - 265,600.00
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $159,400.00 - $265,600.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
Benefits:
The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
