The Customer Data Management crew plays an integral part in being the custodian of the customer data, and therefore the overall success of CommBank.  We are responsible for delivering improvement and maintaining high standards of security to keep the data safe and secure.

Our team plays an importing role working across the group to help align all web and mobile engineering. Supporting platforms like NetBank, the CommBank App, CommBiz and CommSec. You’ll be working to help ensure our experience engineering teams across these products can operate efficiently and effectively by supporting them with frameworks and capabilities to allow them to focus on functional development that supports customers.

You’ll be involved in the design, build and operation of the platforms and frameworks that underpin these systems, but also work to ensure the engineers across the group have the knowledge and insight to use the platforms to their potential.

We’re interested in hearing from people who have:

• Have solid hands-on background and experience in back-end development using Microsoft .Net framework.

• You are passionate about building developing and deploying high quality software solutions.

• Pride themselves in getting actively involved in continuous learning, experimentation and innovation while contributing to the definition & governance of our standards and best practices.

• Have solid in-depth capabilities in Microsoft Microservices design & architecture

• Comfortable to apply and promote industry best patterns and practices, driving high quality outcomes to solve core business objectives.

• Knowledgeable in providing accurate estimates for the development effort for new features.

• You are constantly thinking outside the box and breaking boundaries to solve complex technical problems.

Tech Skills

• Microsoft Net Framework .Net, Net Core C#

• Microservices design principles

• Micro services and REST API Integration

• Cloud technologies (AWS preferred)

• CI/CD tools (i.e., GitHub Actions, Octopus, BitBucket, TeamCity) 

• Database knowledge preferably Aurora and Oracle.

• SQL and UNIX Scripting

• Angular or React with HTML, CSS and SCSS

• Knowledge on JIRA user story life cycle
