We are looking for a Principal Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Security team. This role supports a variety of teams—IT, Engineering, Sales, and Legal—by addressing security-related questions and ensuring our products and systems remain secure and compliant.

Responsibilities:

Support product penetration testing by maintaining target systems

Coordinate with the IT department to close security gaps

Analyze and assess security vulnerabilities; recommend mitigations, workarounds, and remediation steps

Support ongoing governance and compliance

Contribute to the security hardening of BlueCat products

Review security advisories and code to assess impact

Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and compliance teams


Qualifications:

4+ years of experience with Unix/Linux systems

Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Shell, Python)

Solid understanding of IP networking and protocols (e.g., IPv4/6, TCP/UDP, DNS, DHCP)

Familiarity with higher-layer protocols and security architectures (e.g., TLS, SSH)

Ability to read and understand code in languages such as Java or C is a strong asset

IT systems administration experience is a plus

Familiarity with compliance domains such as SOC2, ISO 27001, GDPR.

Excellent communication skills—both technical and non-technical
