The system collects multi-millions of data points per day and makes the data available instantly to drive hundreds of processes throughout the company. Our system covers a wide spectrum of data, service access methods and process workflows that continues to grow as teams need the ability to make decisions based on fine tuned data.
Responsibilities will include engineering ownership in new feature work, improvements on existing code, debugging and investigation of user issues, participation in code reviews, designing and deploying the product. Contribute to standard methodologies and culture of the team. Participate in weekly sprints, planning & estimating work, daily standup, & retrospectives.
Qualifications:

Strong object oriented programming development experience with Java

Strong cloud computing experience with AWS

Strong micro services and distributed systems experience

Strong relational and NoSQL database experience, Postgres, DocumentDB and DynamoDB

Strong communication and collaboration skills with a team-first attitude

Experience architecting, developing, and deploying cloud applications

Experience developing RESTful APIs

Experience with CI/CD pipelines

Experience with observability tools

Experience with Agile (Scrum/Kanban) & DevOps practices and tools

Experience with scripting languages, Python and Linux shell scripting preferred

The compensation for this position ranges from $143,625.00 - $299,375.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
