About the role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Techno-Functional SME - BSPM/Virtus Suite/VPM Conversion Analyst with extensive experience in the Credit Markets/Hedge Funds/Capital Markets domain. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in client-facing roles, designing and implementing solutions for Credit/Hedge Funds products.
This role requires strong collaboration with other teams like DEV, CX, Solution Management, sales and presales teams to support Statements of Work (SoW), estimates, scoping, and should have good product knowledge. BSPM is the anchor product, and role involves working on other related products like Virtus MO Suite, VPM etc.
What you will be doing
- Solution Design & Implementation:
- Business Analysis.
- Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and design tailored solutions using Virtus Suite of products.
- Understanding of Credit Instruments.
- Strong Front Office process knowledge.
- Familiarisation with Investment Decision making process.
- Ability to document and articulate business requirements.
- Strong workflow design skills.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding technical and functional aspects of the credit products.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their business objectives and aligning solutions to meet these objectives.
Technical Skillset:
- Ability to understand and edit JSON.
- Basic SQL skills are mandatory
- Ability to learn BSPM (Buy Side Portfolio manager) data and config model - training will be provided
- Tools: Text editing for JSON, Excel, Postman.
- Knowledge of .Net, Python scripting, and SQL a bonus, but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with AWS public cloud concepts, REST API, Web Service, and FTP concepts
- Ensure the technical feasibility of solutions by conducting detailed technical assessments and identifying potential integration challenges
- Should be conversant with the latest trends in technology (Azure, SaaS etc) and should be able to adopt them for solutioning.
- Experience with migrating applications from one platform to another would be good to have but not necessary.
What you bring:
- Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a techno-functional role, preferably in capital markets or financial services.
- Proven experience with the Credit Markets/Hedge Funds/Capital Markets domain
- Strong experience in API integrations, cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred), and database management.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Excellent client-facing skills with a proven ability to interact and communicate with senior stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and critically.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
