Job Description

At Invesco Agility Office, we are dedicated to driving Agile transformation within our engineering practice organization. Your Role
As a Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and supporting our Agile teams. Your primary purpose will be to facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and promote a culture of continuous improvement. You will work closely with Product Owners, Development Teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Your expertise in Agile practices will help drive our transformation efforts and enhance team performance.

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Removing impediments and ensuring the team remains focused on their goals.
  • Coaching team members on Agile principles and practices.
  • Collaborating with Product Owners to manage the product backlog and prioritize work.
  • Monitoring team performance and providing feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Promoting a culture of transparency, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Ensuring the team adheres to Agile methodologies and best practices.
  • Supporting the Agile transformation initiatives within the organization.

The Experience You Bring:

  • Proven 5+ years of practical experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
  • Experience introducing and coaching Agile processes and Scrum framework to team members.
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Certification in Scrum (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
  • High proficiency in Agile tools: Jira, Confluence, etc.
  • SAFe experience and/or certification preferred.
