Job Description

We're seeking a visionary Master Data Management (MDM) Lead to champion our Primary Data Program. You'll build and mentor a team of data experts, collaborating with stakeholders across the business to establish a single source of truth for our most critical data assets. Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Define and articulate the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Primary Data Program (PDP).

  • Develop and maintain Master Data Management (MDM) policies, procedures, and standards.

  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in primary data management.

  • Identify and prioritize primary data management initiatives based on business needs and strategic objectives.

Delivery and Execution:

  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of Customer, Supplier, and Product Data Hubs.

  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define data requirements, data quality rules, and data integration processes.

  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across all data hubs.

  • Manage data governance processes, including data ownership, data stewardship, and data issue resolution.

Operational Excellence:

  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of the Primary Data Programs, identifying areas for improvement.

  • Foster a data-driven culture across the organization.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support for the PDP.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across different business units, IT, and project teams.

  • Understand their data needs and challenges, translating them into actionable data solutions and program deliverables.

  • Effectively communicate the PDP program's value and the impact of Data Governance on business outcomes.

Communication and Reporting:

  • Facilitate productive communication channels between stakeholders and project teams.

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and drive follow-up on open action items.

  • Provide regular program updates and reports to senior leadership, ensuring transparency and accountability.

  • Measure and communicate the impact of PDP and Data Governance initiatives on business outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.

  • Experience with Oracle Master Data Management products including ODI, EDQ, Oracle Database, and OEDMCS. Other comparable environment experiences such as SAP or Informatica are welcome.

  • Experience with Qlik data quality and data integration tools, or other augmented data quality solutions.

  • Knowledgeable in vendor management and successful negotiation tactics

  • Experience with leading data governance policies and standards, data quality management, and data integration strategy.

  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and data architecture.

  • Understanding of Customer, Supplier, and Product data domains.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to engage and manage diverse stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to motivate, lead, and develop team members to success

Salary Range: $155,000 USD - $165,000 USD

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 7+ years of experience in Master Data Management, or leading Data & Analytics focused teams with a proven track record of success.

  • 5+ years of leadership experience

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
