Job Description:

   

In a typical day as a Presales Consultant in infrastructure products and solutions, you would:

  • Contribute to the creation of  a technical proposition by participating in deep-dive discussions and translate the technical view into the implementation view, while meeting customer requirements.
  • Help the account team with proposal creation by providing product advice and presenting the unique value of the company’s products to customer and how the products contribute to the customer´s business goals.
  • Contribute and support the request for proposal (RFP) and request for information (RFI) process by coordinating information gathering from various teams and partners. Assist with customer communications as needed.
  • Create, develop and maintain technical solution catalogues for customers
  • Monitor the sales opportunity pipeline and assists sales teams to drive the sales process from initiation to closure.
  • Contribute to technical transfer of knowledge to peers and sales colleagues

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in engineering or from technical university.
  • 3-7 years of technical and/or solution experience in IT industry.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Native french speaker, proficient in English.
  • Demonstrates  hands-on-level skills in assigned area of specialization.
  • Understanding of current trends, competitor products and strategies in computing, storage, networking and software infrastructures.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective consultative selling techniques, including active listening, framing, white
  • Industry technical certification like HPE ATP, VMware VCTA, Cisco CCNA, Nvidia Associate.
  • Ease of use  of social media, blogging, and related information sharing technologies.

Au sein de Hewlett Packard Enterprise, vous êtes Consultant Avant Vente rattaché(e) au Responsable Vente Avant-Vente France Regions. Vous intervenez auprès des comptes de taille intermédiaire des secteurs privé et public d’une ou plusieurs régions. Le poste basé au sein du hub HPE de Barcelone.

Vous avez pour principales responsabilités de :

  • Etre le référent technique dans le domaine des infrastructures matérielle, serveur, stockage, reseau et logicel pour l'IT hybride et du Cloud auprès des clients, partenaires et de l'équipe commerciale locale : veille technologique, présentation & démonstrations techniques, soutenances, traduction du cahier des charges en spécifications techniques, design d’architectures adaptées aux besoins  métiers, réponse à appel d’offres…
  • Collaborer étroitement et à distance avec l’équipe commerciale locale afin de proposer la solution technique adaptée lors des différentes phases du processus de vente et orienter les clients dans leur prise de décision.
  • Partager vos retours d’expériences au sein de l’équipe sédentaire et de l’équipe des avant-ventes régions terrain.

Votre profil :

  • Formation école ingénieurs ou formations universitaires scientifique et technique
  • 2-5 expériences dans un poste similaire dans le secteur de l’IT
  • Vous avez un bagage technique via des certifications dans le domaine de l'infrastructure hybride telles que HPE ATP, VMware VCTA, Cisco CCNA, Nvidia Associate.
  • Vous avez un sens commercial et aisance relationnelle, capacité d’autonomie tout en travaillant en équipe, qualités rédactionnelles, force de décision et de conviction auprès des clients et partenaires
  • Anglais courant. Français natif
