Pre-Sales Specialist

What you’ll achieve
As a Pre-Sales Specialist you will be part of our highly successful sales team and drive customer engagement and supporting the sales process by providing technical and product expertise.
You will closely collaborate with sales, product, and technical teams to understand customer requirements and present tailored solutions that demonstrate the value of Dedalus’ healthcare software solutions.
You will play a critical role in positioning the company’s products and services as the optimal choice for prospective clients.
Working with an extended highly skilled team across ANZ Sales and Business Development, Product and Solutions, Technical and Implementation teams and with clients and prospective customers you will be making a profound impact throughout the healthcare sector.
You will:
Solution Design and Presentation:
- Understand client requirements and challenges through discovery sessions and consultations.
- Design tailored solutions that align with client needs and Dedalus’ product offerings.
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations to key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with product and development teams to address complex client needs.
Sales Support:
- Partner with the sales team to develop strategies for winning opportunities.
- Provide input on RFPs, RFIs, and EOIs, ensuring alignment with customer expectations.
- Prepare and present technical and business proposals to prospective clients.
- Address client questions and concerns during the pre-sales process.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Act as a bridge between sales, product, and technical teams to ensure alignment on solutions.
- Provide feedback to product management teams on market demands and client needs.
- Support account management teams in nurturing long-term client relationships.
Market and Industry Knowledge:
- Stay informed on trends, challenges, and developments in the healthcare software industry.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of Dedalus’ product suite and competitive landscape.
- Identify opportunities for product enhancements and new solutions.
Training and Enablement:
- Train internal teams on product features, benefits, and updates.
- Develop and maintain documentation and resources to support the pre-sales process.

Here’s what you’ll need to succeed:Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Healthcare Informatics, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a pre-sales or technical sales role, preferably within the healthcare or software industry.
- Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and systems.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, client-focused solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint).
Desirable Requirements
- Knowledge of Australian and New Zealand healthcare systems.
- Experience with Dedalus products or similar healthcare software solutions.
- Technical background in software engineering or IT.
