Who We’re Looking For 

We’re looking for a dynamic leader with a passion for driving change. A Practice Manager to lead our Modern Workplace practice while fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation and excellence within the team. The Practice Manager will be responsible for managing a team of top-tier professionals, overseeing the practice's P&L, capacity management, go-to-market plans, collaborating with the Sales Team, and driving allocations and hiring initiatives.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and lead a team of Modern Work professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
  • Oversee the practice's P&L, budget, forecasted revenue targets, and track financial performance against goals, to meet profitability goals and cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage capacity planning, resource allocation, and project staffing to meet client demands and optimize utilization.
  • Develop sales enablement strategies in line with organizational go-to-market for your practice.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to identify and pursue new business opportunities, participate in client meetings, and contribute to proposal development.
  • Drive hiring initiatives, including identifying staffing needs, attracting top talent, conducting interviews, and onboarding new team members.
  • Drive resolution for issues and risks with active project execution, sales pipeline, capacity and forecast.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and incorporate them into the practice to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Inspire your team of technologists to promote your practice through blogging and community engagement.
  • Maintain a strong Microsoft presence through active participation in community speaking engagements, blog posting, Social Media presence and events.
  • Submit daily hours billed to cloud-based project management software, Kantata, for time tracking.

What You'll Need

  • Demonstrated experience of managing and leading high-performing teams., with a focus on Modern Work.
  • Deep understanding of Modern Workplace technologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Specialization in Mergers and Acquisitions, including Azure, Azure infrastructure solutions architecting/systems engineering.
  • Proven track record in Azure Tenant Migrations and Consolidations, as well as On-prem to Azure Migrations.
  • Strong business acumen and experience managing P&L.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on driving business growth and profitability.
  • Experience developing and executing go-to-market plans to drive business expansion.
  • Proven experience cultivating strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by understanding their business objectives, challenges, and technology needs.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong client relationships.

What Will Set You Apart

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Deep understanding of Cloud & DevOps technologies and best practices around Azure.
  • Relevant Azure certifications
  • Professional Services experience
