The BBB is looking for a PR, Communications, and Events Manager to join our Marketing and Brand Engagement team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of planning and executing all BBB Cincinnati events, while nurturing and expanding our media relationships. You'll connect with BBB Accredited Businesses and consumers across the 22 counties we serve, becoming the external face of BBB Cincinnati and championing our mission for an ethical marketplace.

What You'll Do:

  • Be the Voice of BBB Cincinnati: As our primary media contact and spokesperson, you'll confidently represent BBB in radio, TV, and live events, sharing our brand story with authority.
  • Create Engaging Content: Develop compelling social media content for a diverse audience across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Drive PR Success: Craft and execute innovative public relations strategies, revamp media kits, and create impactful press releases and media alerts.
  • Lead Events: Plan and execute all BBB Cincinnati live and virtual events with precision, ensuring every detail is flawlessly managed.
  • Engage with the Community: Attend and represent BBB at community events, build strong relationships and promote our mission.
  • Annual Gala and Awards Show: Take the lead in managing our prestigious 200+ person gala and live awards show, coordinating with vendors, partners, and staff to deliver an unforgettable event.

What We're Looking For:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in PR software, Microsoft Office, and database management programs.
  • Strong media relationships and the ability to always be camera-ready.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Active social media presence with a knack for creating engaging content.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects with tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
  • A strategic mindset, curiosity, and a passion for ethics.
  • Proficiency with AI tools and a willingness to embrace innovative technologies.
  • A confident, outgoing, and engaging personality.
