Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Power Platform Developer to join our team in supporting mission-critical projects for the Department of Defense. The ideal candidate will have experience designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. This role requires a developer who can translate business needs into efficient, scalable solutions that improve processes and insights for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Development: Design, build, and deploy applications using Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Process Automation: Develop automated workflows and solutions to streamline business processes and increase operational efficiency.
• Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources (e.g., SharePoint, SQL databases, external APIs) to create comprehensive applications and dashboards.
• Custom Development: Extend Power Platform capabilities by developing custom connectors and utilizing technologies like JavaScript, PowerShell, and Azure Logic Apps.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements, understand challenges, and define project objectives.
• Training and Documentation: Provide user training and create detailed documentation for developed solutions, ensuring usability and adoption across teams.
• Troubleshooting and Optimization: Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization to ensure reliability and efficiency of Power Platform solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Power Platform Developer, with a strong understanding of Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Power Platform development (Canvas and Model-driven apps, Power Automate workflows, Power BI dashboards)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, and SQL databases
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, PowerShell, or other scripting languages
  • Experience with API integration and custom connectors
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions that address end-user needs.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Certifications: Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PL-100, PL-200, PL-400).
• Experience in Defense Industry: Prior experience working on DoD or other government projects.
• Azure Experience: Familiarity with Azure services, such as Azure Logic Apps, Functions, and API Management.
