Main Responsibilites:

  • Develop advanced power electronics controls solutions at both component and system levels for a broad range of electric and hybrid vehicle applications.
  • Validate and deliver controls software through code development, dynamic system modeling an simulation, SIL and HIL validation, dyno testing, and field integration support.
  • Interface with stakeholders to develop control system requirements that support vehicle electrification solutions.
  • Conduct advanced e-Drive, inverter and vehicle system simulation to support features development and vehicle performance assessment.


What Skills You Need:

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills (English).
  • Strong communication skills and preference for working in teams.
  • 3 or more years of experience for advanced power electronics and control algorithm development.
  • 3 or more years of simulation experience for power electronics and control system.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB/SIMULINK or similar simulation tools.
  • Capability of delivering high-quality C code in an embedded microcontroller environment.
  • 1 or more years of hands-on power electronics testing experience.
  • Relevant research experience in academic institutes will be equally considered.


What Makes You Stand Out:

  • Advanced degree with a focus on power electronics and/or control system.
  • Academic or Industry Experience with advanced control systems and techniques such as observer, model predictive control, etc.
  • Academic or Industry Experience with advanced electric motor control, dc/dc converter, grid-tied inverter, energy storage integration and vehicle power management.
  • Academic or Industry Experience with modeling, simulation and Hardware-in-Loop system.
  • Academic or Industry Experience with advanced digital signal processing schemes such as filter design.
  • Academic or Industry Experience with power electronics hardware design.
  • Academic or Industry Experience with hybrid electric vehicle applications.
  • Academic or Industry Experience with advanced research topics.


Education:

  • Minimum of Master's degree in Controls Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with a focus on power electronics and/or control system.
