GENERAL FUNCTION:

We are seeking a an experienced Power BI specialist with a technical and administrative understanding of Power BI Premium Capacity and Microsoft Fabric, capable of managing our data analytics platform and supporting the Bank’s cloud-first strategy. This role demands hands-on expertise in both implementation and administration, including integration with other enterprise databases and technologies, to advance data-driven insights and efficiency across the organization.

This role will work closely with our Line of Business to provide advanced reporting and last-mile solutions that empower data-driven decision-making.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Power BI Premium Capacity: Oversee setup and management, implementing best practices for workload optimization, observability, and transition planning to Microsoft Fabric.
Office 365 and Entra (Azure AD): Liaise with administrators to ensure proper group management, access control, and compliance in Power BI settings
Data Connectivity: Configure Power BI gateway servers and integrate with databases, including Snowflake, enhancing the data flow for accurate, real-time analytics.
Automated Refreshes and Updates: Develop schedules and maintain data flows, reducing manual input and enhancing the accuracy of business intelligence.
Integration with Power Platform: Connect Power BI with Power Apps and Power Automate to enable automated workflows, enhancing analytics and reporting processes.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business units, translating complex requirements into technical solutions, guide bi adoption through training and driving alignment on Power BI roadmap priorities.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field; at least 10 years of IT experience and 3+ years in Power BI Premium Capacity.
Technical Expertise: Advanced understanding of Power BI SaaS, Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Entra, and Office 365’s administrative portal.
Proactive Troubleshooting: Skilled in monitoring cloud analytics performance, troubleshooting, and enhancing Power BI’s availability.
Data Flow Management: Proficient in managing data flows and ensuring best practices for automated, high-quality reporting.
Effective Collaboration: Proven ability to work with data strategy teams to align BI capabilities with business needs, delivering end-to-end solutions for reporting and analytics.
