Are you ready to take charge of driving brand growth in a dynamic environment? We are looking for a visionary and data-driven Brand Growth Leader to spearhead our growth strategy, aligned with regional objectives while tapping into local customer and consumer insights for Extra gum.

In this pivotal role as Extra Portfolio Manager, you will engage and inspire stakeholders across the organization, crafting compelling narratives that ensure excellence in execution and maximize brand impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and implement the Nordic Extra brand growth strategy that aligns with regional goals, leveraging local customer, consumer, and shopper insights to drive results.
  • Collaborative Growth: Partner with the Regional gum team to develop tailored growth platforms that resonate with market needs and opportunities.
  • Portfolio Management: Lead deployment of portfolio strategies and ensure our offerings are optimized for market success, while owning and managing the Nordic Extra portfolio menu and pipeline, ensuring robust health and relevance in the market.
  • Innovation Management: Manage innovation through the Mars key decision-making process, including post-launch reviews to refine our approach and maximize success moving forward.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Inspire and motivate a diverse range of internal stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of growth plans, and co-create impactful selling stories for New Product Development for customers with key stakeholders
  • Analytical Insight: Conduct local analysis to identify growth drivers and co-lead PPA (price-pack-architecture) analysis and execution.
  • Media Collaboration: Work closely with the Media Manager to coordinate media activities that elevate brand visibility and engagement.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Leverage insights and learnings from other markets to enhance our strategies, creating valuable connections to share best practices.
  • Project Management Excellence: Exhibit thorough attention to detail and strong project management skills to deliver projects on time and in full.

Key Qualifications

  • Calibre degree in Business Economics, Marketing, or another related discipline
  • Min. 5 years of Marketing or Category experience
  • English professional proficiency required and fluency in minimum one Nordic language a plus
  • Strong oral, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Advanced usage of Excel and Power point
  • Data experience preferred (i.e. Nielsen, GFK, Kantar)
  • Analytical skills and demonstrated ability to create a narrative from analysis/insights
  • Previous experience within FMCG and the Nordic retail market preferred
