Job Description

We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Ignitis Poland team, where you’ll be responsible for covering wide range of topics related with growing customer base and renewable generation portfolio. If that speaks to you, we’d be happy to welcome you to our team!

You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

  • Managing retail/generation portfolio hedge;
  • Mandating and executing of market operations;
  • Monitoring and evaluating conditions of the market, capturing profitable opportunities;
  • Participating in creation of portfolio management strategies;
  • Keeping a trade registry;
  • Monitoring of current strategy efficiency.

Qualifications

  • University degree or equivalent (economy, engineering, mathematics);
  • At least 2 years of work experience in banking, trading (gas and/or power), brokerage or financial/technical sales;
  • Knowledge of the legislation governing the energy market;
  • Familiarity with information platforms – Montel, Eikon, Bloomberg;
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office/VBA;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Polish and English languages;
  • Understanding of weather influence on power markets;
  • Knowledge and understanding of European energy markets: Nasdaq OMX, EEX, ICE, PolPX;
  • Practical knowledge of risk management processes.
