Are you ready to join the programmatic evolution?

Reporting to the Manager, Policy, you’ll be an integral part of a global Policy team, developing and implementing policies for a company that has offices around the world. This role is for someone who is ambitious, eager to learn and is excited to help protect Index Exchange by developing thoughtful and thorough corporate policy. As the Policy Specialist, you’ll work closely with Index Exchange stakeholders across multiple disciplines and areas of the business.

Here’s What You’ll be Doing:

  • Research, analyze, develop and deliver corporate policy and compliance projects for Index Exchange, to ensure the company operates effectively, efficiently and is protected from risk. Work will be completed in support of the Manager, Policy or independently as assigned by the Manager, Policy. Delivery areas include commercial, operational, human resources, engineering, and other areas of the business.
  • Develop content for internal and external communications, infographics, handouts, newsletters, presentation slides, and conference materials.      
  • Maintain and build relationships with Index Exchange stakeholders across the company. Work with stakeholder teams to determine the goals and objectives of policies, provide input on draft policies, gather research, implement completed policies and deliver training.                                               
  • Conduct research and review applicable laws, regulations and industry best practices, as necessary, to inform company policies.
  • Revise and update policies and procedures regularly to ensure they are up to date, readily available, and the subject matter remains accurate.
  • Maintain policies and procedures in a centralized database and track all changes and revisions to all policy documents. Update and organize online policies and procedures on the company’s intranet website.
  • Develop training and related materials, and support training delivery to ensure that employees understand all policy and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Here's What You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field;
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a fast-paced environment;
  • A self-starter attitude and an ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with multiple cross-functional business partners;
  • Savvy ability to adapt policy and compliance needs to a dynamic corporate tech environment;
  • Organizational and analytical skills demonstrated through critical thinking, strict attention to detail, resourcefulness, adaptability and commitment to problem-solving;
  • Creativity that you apply to writing, presentations, problem-solving and other work products;
  • High proficiency in time management, planning and prioritization; ability to manage changing priorities;
  • A strong interest in advertising technology and corporate policy; and
  • A positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
